Mee Kum Kim is a professor in department of Ophthalmology of Seoul National University College of Medicine of South Korea. She earned her M.D. in Seoul National University College of Medicine and received her doctorate (Ph.D.) in ophthalmology from Seoul National University College of Medicine. Her current work focuses on 1) the feasibility of corneal xenotransplantation to overcome donor shortage in Asia, 2) regenerative medicine in limbal deficient stem disease and 3) corneal transplantation related tolerance. She has published 175 SCI(E) articles in answering important scientific questions about these ocular immune reactions in variable ophthalmic disease.
