Dr. Ha is Professor of Surgery at Seoul National University and serves as Director of Organ Transplantation Center of Seoul National University Hospital. He is also the Director of the Transplantation Research Institute, Medical Research Center, Seoul National University College of Medicine. He established and served as the president of the national organ procurement organization (Korea Organ Donation Agency) in Korea. Major clinical work is kidney and pancreas transplantation and related researches such as pharmacogenomics of immunosuppressants as well as xenotransplantation research focused on islet transplantation. He served as a council member of TTS and serves as Chair of Membership Committee. He is also a member of IXA and ISODP, served as a council member of ISODP, and hosted 13th congress of ISODP. He is a scientific program committee member of TTS 2020.
