Dr. Bunnapradist is a Professor of Medicine at David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California, Los Angeles  and Director of Research for the Kidney Transplant Program at Ronald Reagan Medical Center. After graduating from medical school at the Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, where he was born, Dr. Bunnapradist came to Columbus Hospital in Chicago for his residency training. He then completed two fellowships, one in Nephrology at New England Medical Center and another in Kidney & Kidney-Pancreas Transplant at UCLA Medical Center, and received his Master’s degree in Clinical Research from UCLA School of Medicine. Dr. Bunnapradist leads a longstanding kidney transplantation research program with >$8MM in current active funding. Over the last 20 years, he has completed more than 50 clinical trials, published  more than 200 research papers, book chapters, reviews and editorials, and presented 245 abstracts at national and international meetings.
