John J. Friedewald, MD, is a transplant nephrologist on the medical staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and a professor of Medicine and Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. After earning an undergraduate degree in psychology from Princeton University and a medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. Friedewald completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Nephrology both at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore.
